What to Expect
Perhaps you have experienced a traumatic event in your life and are looking for a safe place to process this and try to understand what has happened with a skilled and empathic listener. Perhaps you have found yourself stuck, depressed or anxious or find yourself at one of life's crossroads and would benefit from exploring this within a compassionate and confidential professional relationship.
I currently see clients online and offer a safe and non-judgemental space in which to explore both your current issues and also your past history. Our early experiences and relationships can impact the way we view the world and our current relationships with others. Sometimes, it can be helpful to look deeper beneath our surface issues and explore potential patterns of relating and repetitive cycles of behaviour that are having a negative impact on our sense of self.
I offer both long term and shorter term therapy, sessions are 60 minutes and held at the same time each week during term time.
As a starting point, I offer an initial full session so that we can meet and begin to explore what has brought you to therapy. This also provides an opportunity for you to get a sense of whether I feel like the right therapist for you.
If you decide that the relationship does not feel like the right fit, there is no obligation to continue or to pay for the session. If you choose to continue working together, the session will then be charged at the agreed rate.

My integrative approach allows me to draw on a broad range of therapeutic models in order to work in a way that best suits your needs. With this exploration, we can bring our subconscious and often repetitive patterns of behaviour into the conscious. Armed with this knowledge, our ways of responding to the world around us can change leading to a greater sense of self, allowing us to feel calmer, more grounded and empowered to reach our full potential.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within their code of ethics, working closely with a professional supervisor to ensure I’m working to your best interests and continue to work effectively.
